Jim Tait
Jim Tait has a well-deserved reputation as a skillful and accomplished trial lawyer with over 34 years of experience. He tried and won his first case in 1971. Since then he has tried more than 1,000 cases, ranging from small automobile accidents to personal injury and business litigation involving millions of dollars.
Mr. Tait is the senior litigator for Tait & Associates, P.C. His experience includes supervising and trying complex litigation in Oregon and many other states.
Mr. Tait was born in Pasadena, California. He graduated from the University of Oregon and received his Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from the University of Oregon. Mr. Tait was admitted to practice in Oregon state and federal courts in 1971. He was admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in 1972 and before the Supreme Court of the United States of America in 1981.
